Switzerland Advances Work on Artificial Intelligence Regulation

On 28 October, Switzerland’s Federal Council reviewed progress on implementing the Council of Europe Convention on Artificial Intelligence and noted initial results from the federal administration’s AI activities. The update also covered guidance on voluntary commitments by associations and companies; no dedicated programme budget or new education contract value was disclosed. Universities, training providers and consulting firms can explore AI training, digital-learning systems and research-computing infrastructure.
