Switzerland Reviews Implementation of the Council of Europe AI Convention

On 28 October, the Swiss Federal Council took note of progress toward implementing the Council of Europe Convention on Artificial Intelligence, including initial findings on AI activity across the federal administration and guidance on voluntary commitments by organisations. The update did not announce a new procurement budget or a priced government technology contract. Public agencies and policy advisers can explore AI-governance monitoring, programme evaluation and secure data infrastructure.
